Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Katherine has been drawing and painting in some capacity throughout most of her life. She finds herself drawn to monsters and beasts, the human body, queer matter, illness, and the world she’s able to see around her. Outside of her visual art Katherine enjoys playing music with local bands, walking, games, and her cat Oatmeal (pictured here in glorious detail).
